David Shaw joins Mid America Specialty Markets as a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in mortgage banking and financial planning. Since beginning his career in 2011 at Midwest Mortgage Capital, David has gained valuable insights into the importance of a solid financial plan when making the biggest investment of one's life.

In 2016, David transitioned to financial planning with Ameritime, a longtime referral partner, focusing on aiding Missouri educators with the PSRS/PEERS retirement system. His work provided strategic ways for clients to gain greater control of their cash flow and wealth, maximizing their retirement benefits and securing their financial futures while passing more money down to future generations.

In 2019, when Ameritime decided to create their own tax office, David played an integral role in bringing in new clients outside of the PSRS/PEERS retirement system. He and the tax team developed processes for all clients to gain greater control of their cash flow and wealth, further enhancing their overall financial well-being.

David resides in Festus, Missouri, with his wife Ashley, a first-grade teacher, and their energetic sons Cohen (9) and Maddox (5). David's multifaceted expertise and dedication to empowering individuals with sound financial strategies make him a valuable addition to the Mid America Specialty Markets team.
